Please enjoy this item, which combines the unique texture and ease of use of Tokoname-yaki with the elegance of Yoshino Sakura.

A collaboration product between Tokoname-yaki and Kutani-yaki.

This is a masterpiece of traditional crafts created by Mr. Hirotaka Umehara, the 2nd generation Gyokko, a Tokoname-yaki traditional craftsman, and hand-painted by Kutani-yaki painter Tsugumori Tamura.

A precious collaboration has been realized by the kilns that have continued to preserve the long-standing traditions of two pottery production areas, Tokoname and Kutani.

The teapot is made using a red clay potter's wheel and is designed to be simple, light, and easy to use. Various painting techniques such as blue grains, red grains, gold leaf, silver leaf, transfer overglaze, etc. are skillfully combined and finished with consideration for the balance with the shape of the teapot.

Please enjoy Kakouri, a fusion of the supreme skills of traditional craftsmen of Tokoname-yaki and Kutani-yaki.

In addition to being easy to hold and having a pleasant spout, the reason why Tokoname-yaki teapots are widely trusted is the precision of the tea strainer.

This is a traditional technique that Tokoname ware teapots are proud of, created through friendly competition between craftsmen.
